  1. While my health my be on a lighter note I can sympathize. It’s the roller coaster that make me sick of being sick. Like you, I am better when I wake up, when I have that moment to smile and joke, when I am able to have recreation with family and friends. I take advantage of that moment, and take advantage of the moment as it is dished out to me. I pray I NEVER have to experience what you have. Those who have fought and won their battle against cancer are “CANCERVIVE WARRIORS!”

My battle is different…Hoshimotos Thyroid Disease, Bilateral Hip Dysplasia, Fibromyalgia, Clinical Depression, Degenerative Disk Disease, History of Lupus, Mitral Valve Prolapse, History of Vertigo, fighting early menopause since 2003,and bursitis in my knees. My doctor told me, I would always feel like I’m 20 years older than I am, so when am I better? That moment…

    • Annette I am happy you agree with me about this Question. I also love that it is that moment when we are well in the moment of family, enjoyment and laughter. I am see you have been through so much and I am thankful that we are living through what others have not

  2. I love this..”I am better every moment I breathe in air. I am better every moment I laugh with my children. I am better every moment even though I feel like crap in a lot of these moments.”

Ask me on a good day and I will tell you have great I am, ask me on a bad day and I will instruct you not to ask, because honestly people dont want, or just cant know the truth. So I am better in every moment I breath in air, and the moments I laugh with my children. I will take that with me, thank you. (hugs)

    • Thank you, Kaloa. I am encourage you to tell people when you feel crappy… Why? because in your authentic self you need to be true to your feelings… Say I am feel terrible today but I am here (with a smile). You don’t have to go in detail but those untruths are unnecessary because no one is fine all the time.
I love living in the moment and I love taking time with the one I love… there is nothing better.

  3. Tanisha, what a heartwarming post! Thank you so much for sharing your highs and lows with us. When you are a survivor of anything, sometimes some people don’t seem to realize that you are still struggling to survive.
I am better when I wake up each day to another beautiful day of life that I get to serve our Creator, enjoy his awesome natural creation, and spend time with my beautiful family and friends! These are just a few of the things that help me to survive. 🙂

    • Thank you for reading. It is hard for people to realize that being sick is not having a cold or not a 24 hour bug and over. I know the creator is proud of your beautiful work. I am happy you use your talent an not let it go to waste…
