Have you ever heard positive comments and you accept it but, feel strange? Previously, I stated that when I was going through my sickness that insecurities faded away. Even with my new Perspective, when I hear how beautiful I am now… I think was I ugly before?
I know, I thought I was beautiful before but, not all the time. In fact, I was not confident in my beauty at all before my sickness; when I truly think about it. When people told me I was beautiful before… I really didn’t think I was. Growing up so many negatives are around you. A lot of times the negatives outweighed the positives.
Why was I still having difficulty hearing positive compliments? It hit me when a person said your beauty from within you is shining on your outside. It is strange for me because of the number of people who see it, now. Since my transformation, my posture, walk, and thoughts are different. I don’t run from my beauty, I accepted it. I don’t make excuses for it. YOU know what I mean by that… I’m pretty but, I could have a better smile, or smaller eyes, or only when I dress up.
This is another moment to EMBRACE all that is Good. EMBRACE who you are and who you are to become!!! Life is a process to EMBRACE THE CHANGES.
